Very cushy! Great traction directional control everywhere except climbing on gravel and mud. It even works OK in the mud. It will slide sideways somewhat before the side knobs dig it and hold. No worries about flats even at low pressure. Best sand tire I have used. Eats up rocks and roots without complaint.

Dislikes

Heavy. Not a big deal on the front but I notice it on the rear. Difficult to mount and remove. Too wide to climb well on gravel.

Conclusion

Great DH tire and almost as great as an all-round trail tire. I was able to easily ride and clean sections of trail - up and down - that I had rarely, if ever, cleaned before. Super grippy. Super comfortable. The weight is worth it. I only mark it down for the gravel climbing traction.
